Hi, I'm Stephanie.

I'm a natural light photographer and freelance editor based in the beautiful Troutdale, Oregon area. My last name is pretty plain so I use my middle name Ellice (pronounced the same as "Elyse") for my business name. :)

My passion for photography began after a very difficult time in my life. I got my first DSLR and started capturing my oldest daughter's childhood in photos. It was a healing experience, a gift from the Lord. I wanted to be able to remember every sweet moment God had given me with her!

Fast forward several years, and I was being asked to take pictures for my friends and their families. Some of these families had loved ones who were close to the end of lives, and I was honored to capture precious memories for them. I began to see that taking pictures is about more than freezing a moment in time; it's about capturing the emotion and love and preserving it for generations to come.

Over the last few years, I've found that my favorite type of photography is senior photography! I love the experience of documenting a senior's personality, likes, and interests, right as they are about to graduate and begin the next chapter of life.

More about me: I enjoy gardening, reading, ballet, and spending time with my family. I also love genuinely connecting with people so I can capture real emotion and joy. My photographic style is to take a mix of both posed and unposed pictures.
